I wish I were in DC today. I’m not. I’m at a conference. I have in mind a sidewalk newpaper guy who hollers (he doesn’t yell, he HOLLERS) the local news while trying to sell you a paper.
I don’t have a picture of him. SO let’s make this an imaginary picture… (You can do it.)
1. Think of the last homeless person you’ve seen. (If you haven’t seen any recently, drive to a large city and look around.)
2. Watch or listen to what they are saying. Consider how believable they are, could be, or would be, if they were dressed differently.
3. Look for God in the corners of their presence. I’m thinking God is there… but we do not see.
