Watching my cats reminded me:
“Where do I settle?”

Where do I find a place to nestle down
to know God’s abiding Presence?
It need not be at the altar rail.
It can be at the base of a tree,
Or in the middle of a busy sidewalk.
I can settle down anywhere
with God.
And there we sit,
listening.
