Some friends from a nearby church are grieving the loss of a single mom and her 11-year-old son. We don’t exactly know why, but we know that both were murdered, probably by the estranged husband/stepfather. Sometimes things in this world make no sense. And I do think God sees from heaven and weeps with us. Tears in heaven…

My prayers are with those who are grieving… for other parents, for middle school and high school friends, for those who were actively involved in their lives and are heartbroken. A brighter day will come.

God will wipe every tear from their eyes,

and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.

All these things are gone forever.
