A Re-run

I had a short blog post almost ready, and then the entry below came up in my feed. We need to hang on to Hope as a nation, and most importantly as the Church in the world — now more than ever.

I think that holding on to Hope is part of our personal journeys, one that we often overlook in discipleship. It is FAR too easy to give up, or explain away why we don’t want to hope. It is easier to remain cynical, even angry at the delays, the waiting, the wondering. Hope fuels the courage we use to be honest with ourselves. To acknowledge our own rough places. To learn to give as much grace as we receive.

So here’s a re-run where I said it all such much better. Advent 1: a time to re-start, listen, and grow.
