Prayer of St. Teresa of Avila

Let nothing disturb you.
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God only is changeless.
Patience gains all things.
Who has God wants nothing.
God alone suffices.

This prayer is the basis of the video in this post. I heard the song for the first time as I listened to today’s Pray-As-You-Go’s podcast. It touched me and reminded me of the great Resource I have within! I am grateful for women and men of my heritage, who point me back to the Source of joy, peace and love. God is indeed enough. I am blessed, indeed!
