Friday Five: Gratitudes

Terri from RevGalBlogPals writes:

For this Friday Five I invite you to offer five gratitudes you recognize in your life.

This is a good spiritual practice! here we go…

1. Health: Several people close to us have some big, major health issues. We are healthy and that’s no small blessing!

2. Husband: I’m blessed. He supports God’s call on my life, and is there for the questions and struggles of ministry.

3. Kids: Both of our daughters are lovely, and are growing, thinking, serving Christians. I’m so proud of them!

4. Music: The way that God speaks to me, and I get to “pray twice.”

5. Friends: Through some of the hardest days of my life, I’ve been encouraged, challenged, blessed and loved.

Play along if you wish! I’m keeping it short and simple today.

Walking in gratitude…

  1. Grateful for: Finding a treasure this week – a book that my mother wrote comments in that are precious to read now – almost 14 years after her death. Friends and family who helped me celebrate my birthday with their good wishes and blessings. A break in the weather which has been registering in the triple digits for well over a month. Awareness of God’s love and presence in my life and in the lives of others. My eyesight and hearing for they bring so much pleasure into my life.
