The last few nights we have been mesmerized by the hundreds of fireflies in the trees around our home. Yes. Hundreds!

They create a twinkling pattern that makes the trees look like they are covered in little tiny Christmas lights.

I don’t remember a summer where we had this many fireflies in the trees… but I’m grateful for a wonderful diversion on a humid summer evening.
