I’m a newbie chaplain. I won’t deny it. Today was full of heart-wrenching moments, and also moments of awe and laughter during my first day on-call for the weekend. On my way to my car, I saw this beauty on the floor of the parking garage… and I was reminded of the promise from the Throne:

I am making everything new… (Rev. 21:5)

I reflected as I drove home on the way that God’s grace continually peeps into our lives. We have to constantly be on the watch for it, because the noise and busy-ness and routine of life can dull our awareness.

Seeing this luna moth jolted me out of my own very self-centered musings and reminded me of the faithful One I serve.

God is good.
